You need to be intentional about your marketing efforts. Social media may not be your thing, and that’s okay. Consider other platforms that you can leverage, such as podcasting, Pinterest, YouTube, or blogging. However, you need to be mindful of where you show up and make sure that you can leverage SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This means using specific keywords in your content that will make it easier for potential clients to find you through search engines like Google or Pinterest.
While Pinterest is becoming more like other social media platforms with the addition of story pins, it can still be a great platform to leverage SEO. Blogging is also a great way to grow your business, but keep in mind that it may be harder to rank on search engines since there are so many blogs out there.
YouTube is another option, but it can be time-consuming to create videos and requires a bit of effort to produce high-quality content. Podcasting, on the other hand, covers all the bases and is an excellent way to build authority and showcase your expertise. Plus, podcasts can rank well in search engines, making them a powerful tool for marketing yourself.

Consistency is key when it comes to marketing yourself, regardless of which platform you choose. If you’re on social media, don’t give up after a few posts. It takes time to build a following, and it’s important to stay consistent and not get discouraged. The same goes for blogging, YouTube, or podcasting.
It’s also essential to network and talk about what you do without shame. Attend events, talk to people, and let them know what you do. Making one social media post or attending one networking event isn’t enough. You need to consistently show up and do the things that will get you noticed.
Networking is essential for work-at-home moms as it can help them connect with potential clients, collaborators, and mentors. When you’re working from home, it’s easy to feel isolated, but networking allows you to expand your professional circle and build relationships with other like-minded work-at-home moms.
There you have it, the three ways to market your business as a work-at-home mom. As a homeschooling mom and the sole breadwinner in the family, these three exact ways helped me grow my business and work with amazing entrepreneurs too! And just a reminder, show up for your business because at the end of the day, whether you’re using social media, SEO, or any other platforms, you must stay consistent because nothing happens in just one podcast episode or post.
