From zero to three months, that’s the time for you to kind of see what it is that you vibe for. You might go into this whole podcasting experience thinking that you want to do interviews all the time, or you want to do solo shows, or you want to do 45 minutes shows but in the actual process, you learn and discover what you actually want.
Yes, you read it right! This is your podcast and you can do everything you want. There’s no certain pattern to success when it comes to creating your podcast, you just need to experiment and see what’s working well for you and your audience.
Being consistent for those three months is pivotal to your success and to the longevity of your podcast. It also allows you to have a solid foundation while you’re still trying to figure out you know what you like. You start to discover what it is that you like, you’re pumping out episodes, and you’re making a mark inside of the podcast app, and new people are starting to find you. And then people start reaching out to you.
Don’t be afraid to talk about deep things on your podcast because podcasting is the best way to scale intimacy. Be vulnerable and don’t be afraid to give really awesome valuable information on your podcast.
Imagine you could be sitting on a pot of gold right now. And all you have to do is stay committed and consistent. All you have to do is show up consistently, talk about your offers, talk about how you help experiment with different things and don’t feel like you need to be locked into just one thing. There’s this idea that a podcast episode needs to be a certain way and it needs to have a certain structure and all of these things, that’s BS!
