Work-at-home moms are amazing humans! As a work-at-home mom, I am 100% sure that managing your home while building another empire is not an easy task to do. There are times when you feel like giving up because you have too much stuff on your plate and sometimes you feel like you are a fraud for building your business and spending time with your kids.
Take it from me, As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve started several businesses, including an Amazon store in 2018, an Etsy shop, and a coaching business in 2020. Each of these businesses taught me valuable lessons, but it was my mindset and self-care that ultimately helped me find success.

I launched a podcast in 2020, and within weeks, I gained my first client. My podcast and coaching business grew organically, with close to 100,000 downloads, without any paid ads. The success of my podcast led me to start a podcast production agency in November, and I quickly got clients. This experience showed me that when you put your mind to something and decide you’re going to make it happen, you can be unstoppable.
However, we all face moments of doubt and imposter syndrome. It’s crucial to have a heart-to-heart with yourself and recognize your successes and abilities. In my case, I had to remind myself of my successful podcast, the investments I made in courses and coaching, and my years of experience in online marketing.
Mindset is the strongest indicator of whether your business will succeed or fail. When things go wrong or slow down, it’s your mindset that determines if you’ll persevere or quit. Taking control of your mindset and focusing on self-improvement can make all the difference in your business.

Taking care of yourself and working on your mindset as a work-at-home mom can lead to great success in your business life. It’s essential to find what works for you and not simply follow what others are doing. Look at your mentors and people you look up to, and ask them how they take care of themselves.
Keep this in mind that there’s a version of you out there who has made it through similar challenges and found success. You can do the same by controlling your mind and focusing on self-improvement. Business is 10% strategy and 90% mindset, so keep going and keep showing up. It’s all within your reach if you put in the effort and believe in yourself.
