It seems like everyone and their dog has a podcast these days, which raises the big question: Is podcasting saturated? The short answer is no. Podcasting isn’t saturated, and the reason is simple. While many people are great at starting a podcast, they often fall victim to “podfade.” Today, let’s dive into what podfade is, how to avoid it, and how to leverage it to your advantage.
What is Podfade?
Many enthusiastic podcasters start strong but struggle to get past their seventh episode. On average, most podcasters produce seven or fewer episodes before giving up. This phenomenon is known as podfade. Life happens, excitement wanes, and soon enough, the once-promising podcast becomes a forgotten project.
